Seed treatment

Seed treatment can affect seed weight and sowing rate.

There are two main types of seed treatment - a film coating (e.g. AGRICOTE Grass) which has little effect on seed weight or sowing rate; and a lime based seed coating (e.g. AGRICOTE Clover) that has a significant weight build up, and increases seed weight and sowing rates.
