A three-year Dairy NZ Waikato farmlet trial has shown cows grazing ryegrass with Plus AR1endophyte produced 9% (or 75kg/ha) more milksolids a year than those on pastures with Standard endophyte.
At a value of $5/kgMS, that is $375/ha extra income every year.
